Malachite is a naturally occurring gemstone formed over thousands of years in copper-rich regions. Celebrated for its distinctive green bands and depth of colour, every malachite bead is unique, ensuring no two Bint Saeed creations are ever exactly alike.
What is the Al Ain Rosette?
The Al Ain Rosette is a carved Carnelian stone developed as a distinctive Bint Saeed House motif. Its warm colour draws from the changing landscape of the United Arab Emirates. From the pale sands along Abu Dhabi’s coast to the deeper red tones found around Al Ain, the desert shifts in colour across the landscape. Carnelian captures this spectrum naturally, from warm amber to rich terracotta. Its rounded form draws from the desert flora of Al Ain, recalling the desert hyacinth and the soft petalled bloom of Tribulus omanense, the national flower of the UAE. The Al Ain Rosette is currently found across selected jewellery, phone strands and small objects, where it begins to establish a recognisable House code that can evolve across Bint Saeed over time.
